Lawyers’ global dispute role

The South Yorkshire office of international law firm Kennedys has clinched contracts to act on major disputes in the Middle East, North Africa and Eastern Europe worth a total of €1 billion (just under £900 million).

Construction and engineering practice partner David Fearon said the significant growth in the office’s international claims work was partly the result of having the ability to work with colleagues at offices worldwide.

“We are pleased to be contributing to the success of Kennedys’ Sheffield office. In addition to the rapid growth of the last few months, we are anticipating further growth for the construction team in the future,” said Mr Fearon.
