DLA Piper has been named the Most Innovative Law Firm in Client Services at the Financial Times’ Innovative Lawyers Awards.
The global law firm won the accolade for its in-house lawyer network What In-house Lawyers Need – or WIN - which is led by Richard Norman, head of the litigation and regulatory department at the firm’s Sheffield office.
WIN makes key legal and career development training available to the firm’s clients through events, tools and forums which address the technical, commercial and personal aspects of working in-house.
Mr Norman said: “I am thrilled that our work over the past two years has been recognised at the FT Innovative Lawyers Awards.
“We have seen our registrations for the programme triple in the last 12 months, with hundreds of clients attending events organised through the initiative.”
The WIN programme has also been short-listed in the Law Firm Innovation category of the British Legal Awards.
