One Cool customer took top prize in a competition to find Sheffield’s next young business star.
Seventeen-year-old Josef Cool impressed judges with his plans to launch his own range of skincare products at the Sheffield Entrepreneurs Challenge.
Josef – whose brand will be called Iz It Cool – took away £500 as well as the chance of mentoring, international contacts and publicity support.
The challenge was organised by 21-year-old city entrepreneur Adam Bradford, who had his own first business up and running at an even earlier age than Josef.
Finalists pitched their fledgling enterprises to aviation entrepreneur Jordan Glen, life coach Jayne Briggs, Suzy Cornwell-Ball from Sheffield Enterprise Programme, Janet Grant from Sheffield University and Adam himself.
Josef is planning to launch his range of organic, youth-focused body and skincare products in Sheffield in the coming months.
He said: “My aim is to succeed in business and to make the Iz It Cool brand internationally famous. I am really excited about launching in Sheffield.”
