Jobs up for grabs as Sheffield Forgemasters launches recruitment drive

The company, which has won awards for its comprehensive approach to apprenticeships, is seeking applicants who are at least 16-years-old and those who are successful will receive fully funded training, working towards a professional qualification, whilst getting paid.

Details of the positions, across a wide range of disciplines, have been posted on the company’s website, but include a variety of roles ranging from technical and manufacturing through to marketing and quality control.

Rick Franckeiss, learning and development manager at Sheffield Forgemasters, said: “I am delighted to confirm that Sheffield Forgemasters is investing in the recruitment of 13 apprentices and two trainee positions, starting in September 2021.

Sheffield Forgemasters is a major employer in the Sheffield City Region, with 600 employees and an apprenticeships programme which makes up around ten per cent of its workforce at any one time.
