THE search is on for the area’s best chefs and food producers who want to shout about the quality being put on to South Yorkshire plates.

This week sees the launch of Yorkshire Food Finder tours, which take food-lovers on culinary-themed trails of farms and artisan suppliers to see where ingredients are sourced by top chefs, learn how to make cheese, smoke fish or acquire butchery skills then enjoy specially-created menus using produce seen that day.
