Pegler Yorkshire has unveiled innovative additions to a portfolio of products it launched less than a year ago to help people go green and cut their central heating bills.

Last year, the Doncaster plumbing products specialist launched its Terrier i-temp programmable radiator control, which Pegler says can cut heating bills by up to 30 per cent by allowing householders to fine tune the temperature and the time when each room is heated, without changing the overall heating system.

Now it has added a hand-held remote control, a USB link that allows householders to control every radiator in their home from their PC and a window contact that detects when a window is opened or closed and adjusts the radiator temperature accordingly.

Pegler Yorkshire product market manager Sindar Singh said: “For those who have used i-temp to deliver energy savings already, these latest products have been designed to offer additional energy saving options.

“They can be installed in minutes, but will provide years of energy saving and heating control.”
