A LANDMARK Doncaster hotel has been placed on the market.

The lease of the 62-bedroom Restover Lodge on Ten Pound Walk, at the top of White Rose Way, is being sold by Colliers International for £550,000.

Formerly known as the Formule 1, the property has been operated privately within a group of three budget hotels.

Peter Bean, head of the hotels team at Colliers in Leeds, said: “Restover Lodge is an easily operated budget hotel with a superb trading location.

“Its location on the edge of the town centre, immediately off the important M18 link road, means it is easily accessible for those visiting the town, as well as for visitors to nearby industrial and retail operations and of course the famous racecourse and Championship football ground.”
