Leading Yorkshire entrepreneurs have been lined up to tell owners of fast growing Sheffield City Region small firms about the learning and mentoring opportunities available to support their expansion plans.
The initiative has been launched by Connect Gazelles, the not-for-profit business support group with links to business finance and investment readiness specialist Connect Yorkshire.
Chief executive Nick Butler said: “Our focus and passion is about helping businesses grow and to create wealth and jobs for the Yorkshire region.
“With membership growth ahead of target – we now have 200 members, many of whom rank amongst Yorkshire’s most successful SMEs – we want to spread the word further to assist companies across the region.”
Connect Gazelles is organising free briefing sessions for companies from the Sheffield City Region with turnovers ranging from £250,000 to £20 million:
The first session takes place on Tuesday at the Holiday Inn, Royal Victoria Hotel, and will be hosted by David Grey, who heads the Sheffield-based OSL Group and is a member of the Sheffield City Region Local Enterprise Partnership board.
The second takes place on Monday, February 11, at Doncaster Rovers Football Club, hosted by Rovers chairman, John Ryan.
