Health fears for small firms

Have your say

MORE than a quarter of small businesses are in poor health, a survey by group buying site SME Discounts reveals.

It says small businesses are increasingly feeling the pressure from the UK’s faltering economic conditions, with one-in-three business owners saying their company is in a worse position than it was at this time last year.

More than a third said reduced turnover and weaker pricing were the most significant factors affecting their business, while one in ten said their inability to secure funding was proving a serious threat.
