Experts from internet giant Google are coming to Sheffield to offer advice to business owners and entrepreneurs.
They are holding a free ‘juice bar’ seminar at the Electric Works in the city centre on Friday, December 5.
The ‘juice bar’ is aimed at offering entrepreneurs the opportunity to learn crucial skills for the ‘digital age’, from creating a website to marketing their business online, on the eve of awareness event Small Business Saturday.
Eileen Naughton, Google UK managing director, said:“The internet is playing an important role in helping companies of all sizes across Sheffield reach new customers, manage marketing expenses and use data-driven consumer insights to help their business grow.
“Our goal at Google is to show UK businesses how easy it is to get online and start reaping the rewards of the digital economy.
“We hope businesses in and around Sheffield will take advantage of these free digital training sessions.”
So far, 250,000 people have been helped by the programme.
