Staff at two video game companies will move into Bawtry Hall after it was snapped up by local businessman Jason Cooper for £1.6m.

The Grade II listed country house, which sits in seven acres of grounds, will be the new home to two of his companies, PQube and Funstock.

He added: “We have a lot of exciting plans for the amazing building and its superb grounds.

“I look forward to it becoming, once again, an integral part of Bawtry society.” It has been used by the RAF and a meteorological office. It was sold by Savills for Action Partners Corporation.
