GAME becomes latest store to announce reopening in Sheffield

GAME is the latest store to announce it will join a number of other retailers reopening in Sheffield next week.

The video game and electronics retailer, which has branches on the Moor and at Meadowhall, will lift the shutters across all of its England stores from Monday, June 15.

In order to protect customers avoid the pandemic, GAME say they are limiting the number of customers allowed in stores at any one time and adding markers to help maintain the two-metre social distancing rule.

The chain has added perspex screens to its tills to minimise contact between staff and customers and has supplied staff with masks, gloves, face guards and hand sanitiser.

Customers are advised to use contacless payments and the retailer’s Click and Collect service where possible as they will be unable to browse in-store.

Trade-in services will be available but subject to a number of changes due to social distancing.
