A DONCASTER based furniture recycling organisation is opening up another warehouse.

Doncaster Refurnish, a social enterprise originally set up in Carcroft, has been given a grant and loan from the Key Fund and will be opening up an extra warehouse in Wath, to service the Dearne area.

The company re-conditions and sells second hand furniture. Bosses say the furniture recycling scheme reduces landfill by collecting unwanted household furniture, which is then repaired and sold at affordable prices to people on low incomes.

Chief executive Andy Simpson praised the Key Fund for the loan.
