Four budding Sheffield entrepreneurs get set to pitch to ‘Dragons’

Have your say

Four young Sheffield entrepreneurs are taking part in a nail-biting Dragon’s Den style pitch for a start-up business investment.

Jerome Jacob, Lauren Nicholson, Natalia Welch and Tom Stayte – who are all city students or graduates – are competing against each other for investment in front of a panel of some of Yorkshire’s top business advisors.

The four budding businessmen or women all have a business proposal, which they will present at the Dragon’s Den style event in Leeds on Monday.

The event is part of a programme supported by the West Yorkshire division of the Institute for Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Samantha Hipkins, of the ICAEW, said: “ICAEW is committed to helping Yorkshire’s young and talented entrepreneurs grow their businesses. We’re very much looking forward to hearing the pitches.”
