Energy saving specialist EMS is re-launching its Airstar system in response to increased demand in industry for technology to reduce the amount of electricity used to produce compressed air.

Rotherham-based EMS says Airstar reduces consumption of compressed air by up to 90 per cent and is ideal for applications using open compressed air jets, such as moving material, dispersing liquids, cooling, reverse jet filtration and removing components from trays or tools.

Managing director Dr Alex Mardapittas said: “We have experienced an increase in demand for the solution over recent months and as such have decided that now is the ideal time to re-launch the product into the market place.”
