Companies and business organisations, including Sheffield-based A4e, Tata Steel, Nat West bank and the Institute of Directors, are calling on the government to put employability and entrepreneurship education on the school curriculum.

Almost 190 major companies and organisations have backed the Young Enterprise Charter which warns that the Coalition’s pressure on schools to focus education on core academic skills will not improve young people’s employability.
