Structural engineering group Ekspan has received an award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) for its commitment to health and safety.
The Sheffield-based group specialises in controlling movement of buildings, bridges, highways, car parks, pipelines, wind turbines, offshore platforms, machinery and fabrications, and bespoke engineering projects.
Its work is often carried out in difficult or hostile environments, including extremes of temperature and corrosion, and in remote and challenging locations.
Ekspan has received a RoSPA Silver Award recognising its dedication to preventing accidents.
RoSPA’s David Rawlins said: “RoSPA firmly believes that organisations that demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement in accident and ill health prevention deserve recognition.”
