and live on Freeview channel 276
Holt, on Ecclesall Road at Banner Cross, opens on Friday January 6 offering lunch plates from £9-£13.50 and mains from £18-£24, including maple-cured pork belly for £19 and lamb rump for £22. It will not serve pizza. Up to 12 jobs are being created, according to chef and co-owner Dariusz Jaskowski.
He said there was definitely a market for food at those prices and comparable mid-price venues in Sheffield were busy.

Hide AdDariusz has worked as a chef in Sheffield, most recently for two years as sous-chef at Thyme Cafe in Broomhill. But running his own place always the ambition.
He said: “This is a dream come true for me and this is a great location. The menu is what I love to eat. It reflects me and my skills.”
Holt is in the former Haybrook estate agents. It is the latest hospitality business in Banner Cross and it is hoped two nearby micropubs - Dark Horse and The Itchy Pig - will drive trade.
Dariusz added: “The feedback from everyone is Banner Cross is developing as a nice area to have a night out.”
