The event will focus on two key themes - how the “city standard” can be set and how Doncaster can become an education city.

Dan Fell, chief executive officer at Doncaster Chamber, said: “The Doncaster Business Conference serves as a stocktake for Doncaster’s economy and allows the private sector to air its views on the challenges and opportunities facing them.

“The event helps to inform the Chamber’s policy priorities for the following twelve months and, importantly, allows for a high level discourse to take place between the borough’s businesses and local, regional and national stakeholders that have an influence on the borough.”

Panellist include Andrew Percy MP, Caroline Flint MP, Dave Sheridan, chief executive of Keepmoat Group, and Greg Wright, deputy business editor of The Yorkshire Post.

The event takes place on April 21, from 8am - 1pm at The Legacy Centre in Doncaster.
