SHEFFIELD architectural design company Coda Studios has been granted permission for a new residential development at a historic industrial site in Oughtibridge.

The development at the former Oughtibridge Industrial Mill complex will feature the restoration of three terrace cottages alongside four new three- to four-storey houses with roof gardens and balconies overlooking the picturesque old Mill Pond.

“We are delighted our application was submitted and approved in just 13 weeks after a great consultation period with the city planners,” said Coda Studios managing director David Cross.

“By working to maintain the historical aspects of the site alongside an extremely sympathetic new build we believe we will create a development that is truly beautiful and completely in keeping with the area.”
