Customers invited to have their say about Sheffield Post Office move

Plans are in the pipeline to move a Sheffield post office and residents are being asked to give their views.

The Post Office is proposing to relocate Firvale Post Office to Usman’s Supermarket, in Page Hall Road.

This branch would be renamed Page Hall and Post Office services would be provided from an open-plan counter alongside the retail counter.

The proposed opening hours are Monday to Saturday: 7am – 11 pm and Sunday 7am – 10 pm. This would be significantly longer than the current opening hours for the convenience of customers.

This move from 48 Firth Park Road, Sheffield, S5 6WN would be with the agreement of the current Postmaster and is part of our plans to modernise our network of Post Offices.

The Post Office is now inviting customers and interested parties to give their comments on the move. We are looking for feedback about accessibility, local community issues and anything that we can do to make life easier for our customers.

Consultation will close on 17 July 2020. Customers can share their views during the consultation online at postofficeviews.co.uk with the branch code 214340.
