WORK has started on building the metal frame which will become Doncaster’s new performance venue.
It is the latest landmark in the construction which forms part of the Civic and Cultural Quarter site at Waterdale.
Meanwhile, trees are now being planted around the area which is due to become a public square, and the roof is now being put in place on the new council offices, which also form part of the project. Glazing is also being put into the windows of the building.
A spokesman for the project said it was progressing on time.
