Creative Steel expands

The company was launched by Rotherham-based Lifting Solutions after it identified a niche in the market for architectural steel products, including balustrades and Juliet balconies, to complement its existing wire rope swaged products.

Since then, Creative Steel Solutions has expanded its range and recently launched an outdoor shelter for smokers. Lifting Solutions' managing director, Jonathan Moorhouse, says: "We were sure that there was a niche in the market as it was clear that these products were quite different from the more mainstream engineering products and services we are involved in.

“The sales and marketing process for architectural products is slightly different to that of Lifting Solutions' core business, as is the actual fabrication process. Hence it seemed a natural move to split this off as a separate business and specialise in architectural products under the new company name of Creative Steel Solutions.

"The results have been extremely encouraging and Creative Steel Solutions goes from strength to strength. We are looking at further increasing the order book and will be looking to create some additional jobs to cope with demand in the New Year."

Creative Steel Solutions’ products are used in hotels, shopping malls and marinas.
