The public conveniences have been set up outside the Peace Gardens on Pinstone Street as the city centre reopens for business, with non-essential retailers welcoming back customers for the first time since the lockdown began in March.

Sheffield Council said the loos would be cleaned after every use and hand sanitiser stations were also available in key areas around the city centre.

All the shops now open at Meadowhall as non-essential retailers resume trading – full list
