and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
Shoppers across Sheffield are spoilt for choice with a number of major stores to choose from. Every week we compare prices across a range of items found in a typical weekly shopping basket to help you decide where you’ll get the best value.
How did the supermarkets compare?

Like most people, we like to mix our shopping list up a little every week.
This week we fancied a spot of baking and added plain flour to the list, with Sainsbury’s, Jack's and Aldi coming in joint cheapest for a 1.5kg bag. Aldi also came back with the best price for tinned rice pudding and a pack of four Aberdeen Angus beef burgers at 33p and £2.69 respectively.

Our price comparison basket came in at just £19.84. Prices are correct as of 18 February.
Lidl, M&S and Asda were unable to participate in our price comparison this week, but we did welcome Jack’s to the roundup for the first time.
