TGI Fridays in Sheffield is back with a click and collect service – here’s how it works
and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
TGI Fridays, on Sheffield Road in Tinsley, is introducing an ordering system that will allow customers to choose and pay for their food online, then collect it from outside their nearest restaurant with social distancing measures fully in place.
The service launches at 24 of the company’s sites around the country from midday on May 6 – just in time for the Bank Holiday weekend.

When completing their order, customers will be able to choose a collection slot between noon and 9pm.
Payment is via card – on arrival at the restaurant, diners need to follow the parking signs and open the boot of their car before returning to their vehicle.
Then customers should call the restaurant to let them know they have arrived, giving their car’s registration number and colour, after which a staff member will leave the order in their already opened boot.

Meanwhile, delivery services are being restored at the Tinsley site via the Just Eat and Deliveroo platforms.
Robert B Cook, CEO at TGI Fridays, said: “We can’t wait to re-fire the grills in preparation for the launch of our new click and collect service in 24 selected locations. These initial sites have been chosen as we either own and can control the car park or the landlord has given us dedicated access. We will continue to monitor UK Government advice but after an initial trial we aim to extend the rollout as soon as it is safe to do so.”
