A Sheffield shop with a 40-year history has expanded by opening a new restaurant on its premises.

The Framery, on Sharrow Vale Road, was set up in 1981 and provides a bespoke picture framing service, as well as selling fine art prints and cards.

Now owners Gabriella Arciello and her brother Emilio, who bought the business in 2018, have added a licensed dining venue serving brunch, lunch and evening meals.

It represents a further boost for Sharrow Vale, which in May was selected by Condé Nast Traveller magazine as one of the country’s ‘coolest neighbourhoods’, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Ancoats in Manchester and Aigburth in Liverpool.
