Customers can look forward to returning to shops that launched only a short time ago – and these will be joined by new names that have announced openings in the city.
Here are 15 stores that are on the way or have recently arrived in Sheffield.
1. Fred Aldous Ltd
This popular art and craft supplies business has bought a unit in Fitzalan Square and hopes to launch later this year - the firm started in Manchester in the 1880s and expanded to Leeds in 2015.

Monki - part of the H&M group - opened a women's fashion store in Grosvenor House, part of the Heart of the City II scheme, in November.
In January, Frasers - an offshoot of House of Fraser, now owned by retail tycoon Mike Ashley - announced its intention to open a 65,000 sq ft 'luxury destination' at Meadowhall later this year.
Weekday - another H&M group brand, this time specialising in denim - also opened a store at Grosvenor House in Sheffield in November.
