Sheffield pub worker tests positive for coronavirus
A member of staff at a Sheffield pub has tested positive for coronavirus.
The worker revealed the news in a post on the Golden Plover’s Facebook page this afternoon.
In the public post, they said: “As some of you know I’ve not been in work since Thursday due to not being well.

"Today I’ve received my results for Covid-19 and they have come back positive.
“I wasn’t in work Tuesday or Wednesday so I’ve been in touch with everyone on Track and Trace who signed in Thursday.
“Hopefully you will all be safe.”
The member of staff added that the Golden Plover, which is based on Spa View Road, had been cleaned and sterilised and would be ‘open as usual’.
People have wished the worker a speedy recovery from the virus.
The Star has asked the Golden Plover if it wants to comment further and is awaiting a response.
