The Sportsman, on Benty Lane, in Crosspool, is now offering people who are bored of working from home the chance to hire a pub desk instead.

For £10, they will get a table near a plug socket, free WiFi for three hours, a ‘lunchtime bite’ and unlimited tea and coffee.

The pub says the offer is available Monday to Friday, between 12pm and 4.30pm, and people can book a table now.
