Among the vegetarian choices are ‘Wild Thing’, made with pesto based on hand-picked wild garlic, while a vegan pizza has been introduced called ‘Power Plant'.
“We've been aware that our new trimmed-down menu is a little light on vegan options,” Porter Pizza said.
“This new addition features a tomato base, oregano, finely sliced garlic, Portobello mushrooms, kalamata olives and artichoke hearts. It comes without cheese as standard but works well with vegan cheese or regular mozzarella added.”

“We've installed a new oven and we've repainted. And now we’re back.”
Porter Pizza is open daily from 5pm. In addition, food is served at lunchtime on Saturdays from midday to 2pm. Deliveries are via CityGrab and Deliveroo.
“Call from 4pm to pre-order as we are typically very busy between 6pm and 8pm,” they said.
Soft drinks and ice cream tubs are on the menu too.

“For years we have wanted to replicate our holiday experiences of continental pizzas back here in our local area of Sharrow Vale Road,” the firm’s website says.
“Uninspired and ‘stodged out’ by greasy, American-style pizza a group of friends finally decided to give it a go themselves. After a year of research and perfecting our dough recipe and techniques, in the autumn of 2015 The Porter Pizza Company began – with a simple mission to transform pizza from junk food to real food.”
