Sheffield business coach helped 170 companies free during lockdown - now he needs your help

A Sheffield business coach who helped more than 170 pandemic-hit firms keep going for free is up for an award - and you can vote for him.

Jon Asquith, managing director of Action Coach, dedicated 10 hours a week, often more, to struggling SMEs during lockdown.

The aim was to help bosses change their busineses to keep money coming in so they could feed their families and keep the lights on.

It led to him being nominated for a ‘Community Impact’ award by the British Franchising Association.

The awards are sponsored by HSBC and recognise those that have put the business community above self interest.

Jon said: “We would love to bring the award back to Sheffield.”

He supported more than 170 local companies with strategy sessions, online webinars and guest speakers from around the world.

The deadline for votes is Thursday November 26. The winner will be announced on Monday November 30 during the HSBC British Franchise Awards Ceremony.
