Bella Italia, which is part of the Casual Dining Group alongside Cafe Rouge and Las Iguanas, began welcoming customers back on Monday. Its parent company had been closing restaurants and bars across the country after entering administration in August.

But Bella Italia Sheffield St Paul’s is reopening under the ownership of a new company called The Big Table, following its successful acquisition of the Casual Dining Group brands. The move has preserved more than 4,000 jobs across the UK and over 150 restaurants.

Jocelyn Mostert, marketing director at Bella Italia, said: “We’re delighted to be reopening our doors once again in Sheffield and welcoming back our guests - whether dining out with the family, or looking for a night out with friends.

“Whilst we promise the Bella Italia experience will be that which our guests know and love, we are very excited to be launching some fantastic new dishes and flavours. We are also taking extensive precautions and have introduced new measures in line with government guidelines to ensure that we keep our amazing team and guests safe.”

The restaurant will be welcoming guests back with a range of summer dishes inspired by classic Italian favourites alongside new dishes and flavours, including a daily set menu, bottomless pizza (£10pp), a bottomless Prosecco Pizza Brunch (£25pp) and Signorina’s Night Out – 2 starters and 4 cocktails (£25pp).
