Open for business! Full list of shops open on the Moor this weekend

A gradual reawakening of the Moor has begun this weekend with stores welcoming back Sheffield shoppers for the first time since lockdown.

More ‘non-essential’ stores will open on the Moor and across the city centre on Monday (June 15) after the Government granted permission to retailers to open shutters and get back on track.

In the meantime, here is the full list of shops that will be open on the Moor over the weekend, with social distancing measures in place:

El Paso: open from Monday - Sunday (3pm - 11:30pm)

Fat Hippo: open from Monday - Sunday (12pm - 10pm) via Click & Collect and Deliveroo

Halifax Bank: open from Monday - Friday (9:30am - 3:30pm)

Pound bakery: open from Monday - Saturday (9am - 3pm)

Poundland: open from Monday - Friday (7:30am - 7pm), Saturday (8am - 6pm) and Sunday (10am - 4pm)

Sainsbury's: open from Monday - Saturday (8am - 7pm) and Sunday (11am - 5pm)

Shapla: open from Monday – Sunday (3pm - 11pm)

Specsavers: open from Monday - Saturday (9:30am - 4:30pm) and Sunday (10am - 4pm)

Spirit of Sheffield: open from Wednesday - Sunday (1pm - 10pm) for Takeaway Only

Subway: open from Monday - Saturday (10am - 6pm) and Sunday (12 - 5pm)

Wickes: open from Monday - Saturday (8am - 5pm), Sunday (10am - 4pm) Click & Collect Only

Moor Snacks, the burger van at the bottom of the Moor, is reportedly also open.

A spokesperson for Moor Sheffield said: “The health of our retailers, centre teams and visitors is paramount and we are working hard to ensure people are being supported.

“We thank you for your patience and understanding during this challenging time.”
