The popular burger restaurant, Fat Hippo, will officially open on Division Street, Sheffield, on Friday, November 6, 2026.
With just weeks until they open their doors, the independent brand is giving people from Sheffield the chance to get their hands on one of the exclusive golden tickets to its private opening event which will take place from 7pm on Thursday, November 5, 2026.
The 10 lucky winners will get to bring a plus-one along to be the very first to experience the city’s newest burger joint before it opens to the public.
Fat Hippo is an independent UK burger restaurant group known for its bold flavours and signature “good kind of messy” dining experience.
Its menu features premium beef burgers, buttermilk chicken, plant-based options and loaded sides.
But following a recent menu shake-up, they have increased their signature beef patties by 40 per cent, from 100g to 140g, using premium 28-day dry-aged beef from award-winning butcher Aubrey Allen.
They have also added in new bespoke sesame seed buns and more accessible prices, with a burger and side starting from £11.90.
