Mr Pierce said the shopping centre is now looking forward to this next stage of easing of restrictions on May 17 when food and drinks can be consumed inside the building.
"We will make sure we will comply with all the measures and regulations that the government has set to get through the crisis so we can get back to a near normal environment by Christmas," he added.
On Monday, the country reached Step 2 of the Government’s roadmap out of lockdown, which means significant parts of the indoor economy and outdoor settings will be allowed to reopen but some restrictions still remain in place.

With 222 stores returning to business and more due to open throughout the week, Mr Pearce predicted that the encouraging footfall would continue.
