Magical Christmas experience awaits shoppers at Sheffield's Meadowhall shopping centre
and live on Freeview channel 276
The Christmas Chronicles featuring the Santa Express experience is perfect for families with children of all ages and will open from Thursday, November 10, on Upper Park Lane.
Guests will enter a cosy Christmas attic room and be greeted by Professor and Nanny, before being escorted by creatures from the forest through a secret doorway to an Icy Kingdom where winter never ends. Having battled to defeat the wicked Snow Queen, they will then take a ride on the Santa Express train through the wintry forest to reach Santa’s workshop.
They will then meet Santa and have a chance to get a family picture, before heading to the Christmas Kitchen with a range of festive treats including drinks and seasonal goodies, and the Elf Emporium, full of Christmas gifts.
Darren Pearce, centre director at Meadowhall, said: “Christmas is a magical time at Meadowhall, and The Christmas Chronicles featuring the Santa Express will be a perfect way for the whole family to enjoy a festive day out.
“Last year’s Santa Express sold out quickly, so I’d urge people to book now to avoid disappointment.”
The Christmas Chronicles featuring the Santa Express will last for approximately one hour. Tickets start from £7.95 for adults and £9.95 for children with family tickets also available from £32.00
Darren added: “This experience is just one of a host of ways you can get into the Christmas spirit at Meadowhall – with more events, Christmas offers from retailers and festive menus to be announced in the coming weeks.”
