International fashion chain Superdry to open store in Sheffield city centre after leaving Meadowhall
“There's a lot happening around Heart of the City, and we're delighted to be part of it”
An international fashion chain is opening in Sheffield city centre after leaving Meadowhall.
Superdry has taken the old Monki shop on Pinstone Street, aiming to open on Friday, July 3.
It comes after the firm closed in Meadowhall in January.

The new store will be in one of the biggest units in Sheffield City Council’s £470m Heart of the City regeneration scheme.
Julian Dunkerton, founder & CEO of Superdry, said: "Sheffield is a fantastic city, and our new location on Pinstone Street gives us a real opportunity to bring the Superdry & Co format here and show customers what the brand stands for today.
“We're also looking forward to building a great team locally and bringing new retail jobs into the city centre. There's a lot happening around Heart of the City, and we're delighted to be part of it."
Sean McClean, director of regeneration and development at Sheffield Council, said: “The unit Superdry is moving into is one of the biggest within the project marking a major sign of the confidence the business has in the Heart of the City and Sheffield city centre as a whole.”
Monki, and neighbouring shop Weekday, closed in June last year.
