“We want people to know we’re back, and that it’s safe to come and shop here with us,” says Susannah Youdan, of ‘S&J’s Pantry.’

"All of our stallholders are dedicated to ensuring this is a safe place to be – everything is being regularly deep-cleaned, our fantastic cleaning staff here are a constant presence, there are hand sanitiser dispensers everywhere, and from July 24, everyone should be wearing masks.”

The market is currently allowing a maximum of 320 people on-site, and is operating a one-way system around the market to keep foot traffic flowing, and avoid people passing one another unnecessarily.

Susannah added: “The cafes are open with special seating arrangements and table service for your comfort and safety.

“We’re here ready to give you a warm welcome.”
