Greggs issues urgent warning and recalls £2 product over fears it is ‘unsafe’

Greggs is recalling one of its products over fears it may contain small pieces of green glass.

Vegetable bakes are sold in packs of two exclusively in Iceland Stores and the recall does not affect any products available in Greggs bakeries.

The affected bakes are those which have best before dates of 15 August 2021, 28 August 2021, 11 September 2021, 12 September 2021 and 26 September 2021.

Point of sale notices explaining to customers why the product is being recalled and telling them what to do if they have bought the product will be displayed in all Iceland stores.
