Businesses across Sheffield are going back to work or making plans to reopen after the government eased lockdown restrictions.

Estate agents, labourers, dog walkers and more are allowed to return to their day jobs with strict social distancing measures to try to restart the economy.

5. Laundrypoint, Barber Rd, Commonside
Working four days currently, the business plans to be back to opening six days a week in June.

The club has partly reopened - players can use its four outdoor courts. There is strict social distancing, one-way entrance and exit markings, staggered booking times, extra cleaning and new rules including no changing of ends and no handshakes or ‘high fives’.

Despite social distancing restrictions, the firm is still taking property pictures from the ground, planes, drones and a 90ft pole.

8. Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, Advanced Manufacturing Park
The Nuclear AMRC, part of Sheffield University, is preparing to restart researchprojects while maintaining strict health and safety safeguards for staff.
The centre has produced a five-phase plan for returning to work while keeping staff safety as the number one priority. In the first phase, beginning this week, eight staff will focus on preparing key equipment to resume work on projects. New measures include markings to help maintain safe distancing, a one-way system and protective shields in reception. Photo: .
