Since lockdown began, Sheffield’s shops have been shuttered, with only a small number of exceptions deemed ‘essential’ because they sold food or medicines, or offered essential services like the Post Office.
On Monday, many shops that have been closed for months will be allowed to reopen. This includes garden centres, banks, bicycle shops and department stores.
