Aldi is looking to hire 27 colleagues in South Yorkshire between now and Christmas, with salaries of up to £32,345, it has been announced.

The UK’s fifth largest supermarket is looking for people of all levels of experience to fill roles at its stores across the region. This includes Store Assistant all the way up to Assistant Store Manager.

Among the sites in the region looking to hire is the store on Flora Street in Sheffield, which has four vacancies.

Aldi already employs more than 775 people at its 25 in South Yorkshire and is looking to grow its team over the coming months as part of its ongoing expansion plans in the region.

Aldi says its rates of pay are higher than the Government’s National Living Wage and also above the Living Wage Foundation’s recommended national rates. Store Assistants receive a minimum hourly rate of £9.40 nationally and £10.90 in London.
