150 new jobs at Sheffield call centre company

A Sheffield call centre company is set to hire more than 150 after experiencing ‘massive growth’ during lockdown.

CC33 has signed new clients and needs people at its three offices: Ecclesall Road, Allen Street, Shalesmoor, Sheffield, and Mansfield Road, Rotherham.

It comes after 80 new jobs were announced at the EC Outsourcing call centre in Sheffield. The firm already has 80 people in Dearing House on Young Street near The Moor.

And Virgin Media needs 98 new people at its call centre in Attercliffe.

Vacancies at CC33 include operations managers, team managers, quality managers and telesales/telemarketing operatives.

Founded by managing director, Paul Fletcher, CC33 employs 350 and has 30 clients.

Mr Fletcher said: “Our city has really felt the impact of the Covid-19 crisis – especially economically – so it’s fantastic to be able to provide opportunities to those who might have lost their income.

The firm has created 150 jobs in the last 12 months.
