Chambers of Commerce from across the Sheffield City Region have unveiled plans to stage their second “Conference for Growth,” following the success of this year’s inaugural event.

Business and Enterprise Minister Michael Fallon, Labour leader Ed Miliband, investment management guru Justin Urquhart-Stewart and Local Enterprise Partnership chairman James Newman and chief executive Ben Still will be among the speakers at the conference. The event will be used as a platform to outline the views of Barnsley & Rotherham, Doncaster, Sheffield and Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire Chambers of Commerce on how economic growth in the region can be kick-started.

The conference will take place on Friday, February 8, at Doncaster Racecourse and is being sponsored by information technology company Bull.
