Company's deal with Next nominated for national award

St Paul's Developments has been nominated for two Industrial Agents Society Awards for its 1.8 million square foot Brookfields Park distribution centre deal with Next.

Wombwell-based St Paul’s won ‘Deal of the Year’ at the Property Awards last year for the Next deal and now it is up for the Lease Deal of the Year and the Pre-let/ Pre-sale Development award at the IAS awards.

The Lease Deal award recognises a transaction that was either challenging or particularly rewarding for the occupier, fund or developer, while the Pre-let/Pre-sale award is presented on the basis of the architectural merits and attractiveness to institutions and the needs of an end user of a particular project.

St Paul’s Developments director David Elliott, said: “We are very pleased to be nominated for these national awards as this is further endorsement of the work that we have undertaken at Brookfields Park.

“ Securing the deal with Next was major achievement for us and we are delighted that our efforts have been recognised by the industry.

“There is some stiff competition in both of the categories, due to the continuing success in the sector, so we are happy that the quality and success of our project has been acknowledged.”

Brookfields Park is an 85 acre developement in Rotherham’s Dearne Valley Enterprise Zone.
