More than 100 guests from the region’s business services and manufacturing sectors are gathering in Sheffield today to discuss issues affecting the local property market.
St Paul’s Developments, construction group JF Finnegan and Handelsbanken are sponsoring the event – billed as the Alternative MIPIM conference, because it takes place at the same time as the MIPIM international real estate convention in the South of France.
The event has been organised by Tim Bottrill, partner at property consultants Knight Frank, Lee Barron associate director at development consultants Turner & Townsend and Alastair Reid, partner at law firm Hill Dickinson.
Panel members will include David Grey, from engineering company OSL, who is also one of the directors of the Sheffield City Region Local Enterprise Partnership, Peter Thompson, from city development company Creative Sheffield, Chris Forrest, from Barclays Bank and Yuri Matishen, president of Sheffield Chamber and managing director of cports consultancy MLS.
Alternative MIPIM takes place on at 2.30pm at the Crystal Bar, Carver Street, Sheffield.
