City punters help Rank
GAMING company Rank Group says its Sheffield bingo clubs and casinos contributed to strong growth in first half profits.
The company, which operates one Grosvenor Casino and two Mecca Bingo clubs in Sheffield, employing more than 150 people, announced a 26 per cent rise in group operating profit to 47.9 million.
Simon Wykes, Managing Director of Mecca Bingo said “We are encouraged by the performance of our businesses in Sheffield during the first half of the year.”
