If there’s one thing that unites people across all part of Sheffield, it is how proud we are of our city - and we all have our favourite spots.
Whether it’s an enjoyment of seeing shows at The Crucible theatre, or the pleasure of adding Henderson’s Relish to your favourite sandwich - Sheffield is full of wonderfully unique places and products that we love.
It is that pride that inspired designer Michelle Collins to create a range of abstract prints which are just as unique as the things that inspired them.
Michelle launched the brand Green Lili three years ago, which she uses to create and sell her artwork.
Michelle said: “The people of our home town, Sheffield, love the city, so we decided to create a collection of abstract art prints inspired by the city of Sheffield and the home of Green Lili.
“It brings together some of the things that people in Sheffield love about the city, including some of the most famous landmarks - the Hendersons Relish building, The iconic Leadmill night club, Park Hill Flats and the Crucible.”
Green Lili is a lifestyle brand for contemporary wall art and home accessories. Unique art prints, framed art, canvas and rugs; all designed right here in Sheffield. Established in 2015 by Michelle, Green Lili use the freshest colour palettes and design techniques to craft original artwork with timeless style for modern homes.
Michelle added: “The collection of Sheffield art is loosely sketched with hints of bright colours and a metallic texture bringing in elements of the Steel City’s history and culture.
“We are different because we design our art digitally which means we can change colours to suit interior styles.”
With a range of framed and canvas options to suit any space, Green Lilli aim to offer affordable , but bespoke, artwork that is easy to match with your tastes and room design - without compromising on quality.
While Michelle is very proud of her Sheffield roots, she also offers other collections - with designs ranging from animal to art deco - to ensure that her artwork also has wider appeal.
Michelle said: “We offer a wide and varied range of beautifully designed collections from intricately detailed florals to statement abstracts, exploring big bold brush strokes and texture.” The artwork is so popular, it has generated interest from leading home and lifestyle magazines such as Elle Decoration and has also been featured in several interior design blogs. Green Lili are proudly putting Sheffield on our walls, and on the map.
