Award winning Sheffield architectural practice Coda Studios is expanding to Leeds and planning to open an office in Manchester.

The expansion follows shortly after Coda, which was established 10 years ago, moved to new offices in n Sheield’s historic Cornish Place.

Managing director David Cross said: “Leeds is the perfect location for us, especially following our increasing success with clients in West Yorkshire, including Roomzzz Hotels and Park Lane Properties and we do see the whole of the Leeds region as a major growth area for our brand.”

“With our portfolio of clients growing across the country we feel that we start 2014 in a strong position for continued successful expansion.

“Yorkshire is very much where we are based but our increasing national clientele demonstrates that we are also now being recognised across the country.”

Coda Studios was named one of Britain’s top three architectural practices at the Builder and Engineer Awards in December.

The company was the only Yorkshire practice to make it through to the final three and was competing against some of the biggest names in the industry.
